Definitions

(e) "Personal Data" refers to information about any individual that enables the identification of that person, directly or indirectly.
(f) "Sensitive Personal Data" refers to the user's personal data related to race, ethnicity, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, sexual behavior, criminal records, health information, disabilities, genetic data, biometric data, facial images, iris or fingerprint data, labor union information, or any other data as announced by the Personal Data Protection Committee under the personal data protection law.
(g) "User" refers to you, the visitor, user, or member of the application, who is the owner of the personal data under this policy.

User Rights

In accessing the application under this policy and providing any consent herein, the user is aware of their rights as the owner of personal data under the personal data protection law, including but not limited to the following rights:

(a) The right to be informed by the Data Controller about the acquisition of their personal data without their consent, if such a case occurs.
(b) The right to request the Data Controller to send or transfer their personal data to another Data Controller, including the right to obtain such data directly from the Data Controller who sent or transferred it.
(c) The right to object to the collection, use, or disclosure of their personal data in the following cases:

  1. When the Data Controller collects, uses, or discloses personal data out of necessity for the legitimate interests of the Data Controller or others, which the user can prove they have superior rights over the Data Controller.

  2. When the Data Controller collects, uses, or discloses personal data to comply with the law, which the user can prove they have superior rights over the Data Controller.

  3. When the Data Controller collects, uses, or discloses personal data for direct marketing purposes.

  4. When the Data Controller collects, uses, or discloses personal data for scientific, historical, or statistical research purposes that are not necessary for public interest.

(d) The right to request the Data Controller to delete, destroy, or anonymize personal data in the following cases:

  1. When the personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes of collection, use, or disclosure.

  2. When the user withdraws consent, and the Data Controller has no other legal grounds to collect, use, or disclose the data.

  3. When the user objects to the collection, use, or disclosure of the data lawfully.

  4. When the personal data has been collected, used, or disclosed unlawfully.

(e) The right to request the Data Controller to suspend the use of personal data while retaining it in the following cases:

  1. During the period the Data Controller is under investigation by the expert committee under the personal data protection law, as the user has filed a complaint for such investigation.

  2. When the personal data has been collected, used, or disclosed unlawfully.
